ANDREA E. TRAN is Managing Partner with the law firm of Garrana Tran LLP.
Andrea's practice primarily focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, opinion work and reexaminations. She has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office in the areas of chemical refining processing including catalysis and polymerization, computer and network systems, medical devices, automotive technology and oil field technology.
Prior to founding the firm, Andrea was a Partner at a Houston-based IP law firm. Before and during law school, Andrea worked in biomedical research for Baylor College of Medicine and in the information technology field at Shell Oil Company.
