For the last 5 years prior to joining the firm, John has been an IP Consultant to small and medium-sized companies primarily in the energy industry. John's practice has focused on all areas of IP including patent filing and prosecution, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing and infringements opinions.
Prior to private practice, John had a 17 year career at various affiliates of Schlumberger, Ltd. In the U.S., France, and the U.K. John's last job with Schlumberger was Chief Patent Counsel located in Houston, Texas.
Before joining Schlumberger, John worked at The Proctor & Gamble Company in Cincinnati, Ohio.
